Wooding's Vampire Blues is set for the ABRSM Grade 1 piano exam (2011-12).

Kevin Wooding, the composer, was born in Australia in 1964 but now works in the UK teaching and composing. This piece was originally published in the fun book, Spooky Piano Time edited by Hall and Wooding (Oxford UP)

Here is an excellent performance of Wooding's Vampire Blues, showing awareness of the 'straight' blues rock style. Notice the steady pulse, accurate rhythms and use of detail.
